After seeing two people break into his father's garage, a city man and his friends gave chase. One man was arrested, and police are seeking a second suspect in the burglary Sunday.
Matthew F. Opoka, 16, of 866 Fourth Ave. was charged with third- degree burglary, a felony. He was arraigned before City Court Judge Patrick McGrath, who set bail at $2,500.
Opoka remained in Rensselaer County Jail Monday night, and he is due back in court Thursday for a hearing.
