Mar. 16--Kasikorn Leasing (K-Leasing) has set a lending target of 10 billion baht for 2006, primarily to customers of its parent company Kasikornbank.
K-Leasing managing director Isara Wongrung said the company, which opened seven months ago, had extended 7,000 auto-lease loans worth six billion baht as of the end of February, compared with three billion baht outstanding as of the end of 2005.
K-Leasing expected 330 percent growth and a 5 percent share in the 220-billion-baht auto-lease market by the end of the year.
